Tips For Drivers

  • Oily and greasy shock absorbers
  • Car nosedives forward unusually whenever you apply the brakes
  • Diminished driving comfort
  • One side of the car sits lower than the other three
  • Difficulty in maintaining handling stability on a straight road
  • Lower acceleration rate
  • Reduced cornering precision, etc.
Possible causes of engine misfire include:
  • A damaged fuel injector
  • Sticking valves
  • Faulty spark plugs
  • Worn coil packs
  • Defective injector circuit
  • Bad catalytic converter
  • Low fuel pressure
  • Leaking head gasket
  • Faulty oxygen sensor
  • Defective mass airflow sensor
  • Faulty throttle position sensor
The oil in your engine plays a vital role. It lubricates the moving parts of the engine so they don't become damaged and overheat due to friction. If your engine doesn't have enough oil, the engine will eventually become damaged. To avoid getting into a situation where you don't have enough oil in the engine, be sure to check your oil on a regular basis. In addition, if the oil pressure warning light comes on in your instrument cluster, don't ignore it. In fact, you should shut the engine off as soon as it's safe to do so when the oil pressure warning light comes on. This can make the difference between an engine that can be fixed and one that's damaged beyond repair.
This light is the visual indicator for problems in your vehicle’s on-board diagnostics system (OBD). Since the 1980s, many vehicles have been built to be run by the engine computer unit (ECU), which controls vehicle’s drivetrain and auxiliary systems based on input from the vehicle’s sensors. This computer will adjust your vehicle’s performance to keep your ride running smoothly. When it runs into an issue that the ECU cannot correct, the Check Engine Light (CEL) illuminates. The light is typically yellow or amber and features an image of engine with text telling the driver to check or service the engine or powertrain. The engine computer stores a diagnostic code when the engine light is on. The light can be intimidating, and most people prefer to just not think about it, but not thinking about it is the worst thing you can do. That’s because the light indicates that one part or system in your vehicle is not functioning correctly. And driving a vehicle that is only partly functional can cause a lot of damage over time. Part of what makes the light so intimidating is that it is often misunderstood and difficult to understand. For starters, the light itself is incredibly vague as it can indicate a wide variety of issues. Luckily the system logs diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), but these sometimes only provide a starting-off point for further diagnosis. That’s because even though the code indicates that a certain issue has arisen, it may mean that a part is broken, a sensor is broken, the sensor is connected to a broken wire, the wire is connected to a broken relay, or some other issue. For example, the oxygen sensor may detect a lean air-fuel mixture. This could indicate that your vehicle’s fuel system is not providing enough fuel for proper combustion or it could be caused by a faulty sensor.
Even though many people choose to simply put water into their radiators instead of coolant, it is not really a good idea. If you do not have any coolant on hand and must use water, then by all means do so. Do however, make sure that you purchase some coolant and put it into your radiator at your next available moment. There is a big difference between using proper coolant and water. While water does help to keep your engine cool, it does not work nearly as well as coolant does. First of all, water boils faster and at a lower temperature than coolant. If it is winter, then you risk having your engine block crack if you run your engine with only plain water. Engine coolant has also been formulated to keep the parts in your engine from becoming corroded. Water, it goes without saying, does not possess these qualities. Remember! Without coolant, the heat produced through constant internal combustion would destroy the engine very quickly. Water alone is not entirely adequate to keep the system cool, for the high temperatures inside the motor would eventually boil it off. In time, the water in the system would evaporate entirely. Doing this will help you avoid bigger and costlier problems further down the road.
Maintaining your vehicle’s tyres is not only essential to getting better gas mileage, but it is also crucial to ensuring safety on the road. To maximize tyre life, we recommend checking your tyre condition and pressure regularly.

“It takes only five minutes to check tire inflation, including the spare. Since tires effect a vehicle’s ride, handling and traction, checking tire pressure.

The place I normally go to was really busy, so I just searched for a local mechanic on google and they came up with great reviews. I went there and was very surprised at how pleasant and ready to help they were.
